3D printing isn’t just for fun, it’s often surprisingly practical. It’s a great tool for putting together little things to address very specific problems that you face around the house, like cleaning out your vacuum cleaner.
We have a Dyson V6 vacuum cleaner, but we get lots of fluff stuck in this top area that it’s a total pain to remove.
So, why not print a stick, with exactly the right radius to get right in the space and pull down the fluff?
I measured the diameter of the vacuum cleaner, and designed this:
It’s made cleaning the vacuum cleaner so much easier. Total time to design: probably 5 minutes. Time to print: 30 minutes. One of life’s little annoyances solved, thanks to 3D printing!
